The Göta Canal is one of the pearls of Vänern and Sjötorp is a very popular place to spend your vacation. There are fantastic bike paths along the canal, also a bike rental is nearby. You can also take a passenger boat on the lake Vänern or on the canal (M/S Bellevue). It is nice to go through the locks of the canal and relaxing at the same time.
