If you are vacationing in the area, a visit to Djurö National Park is a must. The Djurö archipelago consists of more than thirty islands and rocky islets in the middle of Lake Vänern. No archipelago in Sweden is located in such a remote and isolated place, and it is this remoteness that is so fascinating.
