Numerous excursion destinations are in the area, for example to the area of the beautiful Hardanger region or for salmon fishing to the river Etneelva in about 30 km. Visit the open-air museum Stuhaug Turisme og Gardsmuseum in Ølen as well as Hovlandstø with two petroglyphs and five stone mound graves from the Bronze Age.
