Budapest: Grand & Glowing - where history meets luxury

(3 nights)

Multi-stop

From ruin pub to fairy tale castle: Discover Budapest with smart style - stay affordably first, finish with luxury in a palace straight out of a dream.

From everyday beauty to fairy tale – Budapest your way

Budapest is the city where old kingdoms meet thermal baths, ruin bars, and the Danube feeling. Here, the raw and the romantic, everyday life and grandeur are mixed. This trip lets you experience both worlds – with a smart start and a fairy tale ending.

First: Stay comfortably & live like a local

Two nights at an affordable hotel in central Budapest give you a perfect base to explore the city at your own pace. Stroll along the Danube, discover the bohemian Jewish quarter, or enjoy a thermal bath in the middle of the day. Here you get a clean, safe, and pleasant accommodation – so you can spend your money on what counts: experiences.

The food, the art, the music, the ruin pubs – you are in the middle of it. And you know that something very special is waiting around the corner.

The Finale: Párisi Udvar Hotel – where the fairy tale comes to life

When you step into the Párisi Udvar Hotel Budapest, it's like stepping into a dream. Perhaps the most fairy-tale building in the entire city. Colored glass domes, Moorish arches, Art Nouveau details, mosaics in the ceilings – it's a place where architecture, history, and beauty merge into something completely unique.

The name means just 'Parisian Courtyard' and when the building was first erected in 1817 it was intended as an exclusive shopping arcade, inspired by the covered passages in Paris. At the beginning of the 20th century, it was rebuilt by the architect Henrik Schmahl into a magnificent bank palace in a mix of styles of neo-Gothic, Art Nouveau, and Oriental design – as if Paris, Marrakech, and Budapest had merged in a single sweeping brushstroke.

During the mid-20th century, the shine faded. The building became a bank office and then abandoned. But the story did not end there. In 2014, a comprehensive restoration began where artists, craftsmen, and historians recreated the splendor of the salons – down to the smallest mosaic piece. Five years later, the house once again opened its doors – now as Párisi Udvar Hotel, part of Hyatt's Unbound Collection.

Today it is considered one of the most spectacular hotels in Europe. You literally live in the middle of a cultural treasure – in a building where every pillar and glass dome carries more than a century of stories.

It is also a favorite among filmmakers and photographers who return time and time again to capture the light through the glass roofs and the dramatic interiors. And some guests check in just to experience the lobby – so fairy-tale is it.

Budapest, wise and royal

With this trip, you get both sides of Budapest: the local, lively, and affordable – and the grand, unique, and unforgettable. It's smart to save the big for last. Because this is not just a hotel. It's a place where history, beauty, and dreams meet in a single moment.

So – when do you set your steps in the mosaic and let history welcome you?
