Hotel amenities
From the moment you arrive, you want your holiday to feel like home. Villa El Nido makes this easy for you! Somewhat hidden but bold, the village villa peeks out between the palm trees at the end of a cul-de-sac and seduces you into the picturesque grounds with its irresistible charm. Rustic natural stone paths lead through the extensive greenery directly to the lushly planted garden terraces by the house. In the heavenly atmosphere created by the inviting outdoor seating area, you can dine al fresco in Mediterranean style or simply enjoy the idyllic setting to suit your taste. Reading a good book in one of the wicker chairs on the covered terrace or enjoying a cool drink on a pool lounger are examples of cosy leisure activities that are available in abundance here. You can also choose a cosy spot on the small lawn in front of the open terrace. The 8 metre long pool, which is uniquely situated in the garden area, can be reached via a few steps. The small terrace around the pool and the pavilion form a completely separate outdoor area and offer you the opportunity to laze around to your heart's content and also enjoy some alone time. It is the perfect place for evening barbecues. All you have to do is light it up and place your fresh, delicious food on it. Our verdict on the outdoor area: great villa style in a village location with a neighbourhood! The unobtrusive landlord lives in the other half of the large semi-detached villa, where everyone has their own entrance and private area.
Up to four people will find plenty of space to relax in this house with 100 m² of living space. The bright living spaces are not stylistic, but thoroughly cosy, which is pleasantly expressed here. Traditional elements such as exposed beams, wooden windows and doors and exposed brickwork in some areas harmonise with modern elements such as the floating staircase on the upper floor or the open round fireplace. This eye-catching fireplace serves as a decorative room divider between the living and kitchen/dining areas. The flexibly usable large area on the ground floor forms the centrepiece of the home's interior design and invites you to relax with the comfortable sofa on one side, while the culinary well-being of preparing and eating meals together takes centre stage on the other. The rustic-style kitchen offers everything you need for everyday holiday life. From there you have access to the covered terrace, which is particularly practical on warm summer days when you spend most of your time outdoors. On the upper level, there are two cosy double bedrooms and two bathrooms, one of which is en-suite. If there are only two guests, the front-facing bedroom and one of the bathrooms remain closed off. A further bedroom on this floor is for private use and remains locked.
S'Arraco is small but mighty. The church has an unusual clock that rings five minutes before the hour to prepare the residents for the bell ringing on the hour. Fresh bread and flavoured fruit can be bought in the general shop and there is a small market on Saturdays. Andratx and Port d'Andratx, where there is a great diving school, are both around 10 minutes away by car. Only about 900 metres from the finca, at the roundabout of S'Arraco, there is a fish shop that is open all year round, where you can stock up on culinary delicacies or dine on site. From Port d'Andratx, you have the opportunity to take a trip to the uninhabited rocky island of Sa Dragonera and discover the unusual flora and fauna there. Enjoy a wonderful day at the beach, for example in Camp de Mar or Cala Egos. If you are interested in exploring some of the island's cultural treasures, there are several worthwhile destinations in the area. A hike to the ruins of a Trappist monastery in La Trapa allows you to get up close and personal with the beautiful mountain landscape in this western part of the island. Somewhat elevated above S'Arracó is the well-kept Villa El Nido, which is around 120 years old. The idyllic terraces and Mediterranean garden offer plenty of privacy and yet are close to a typical Mallorcan village with a variety of amenities such as restaurants, tapas bars, a pharmacy and a small supermarket.
This is a Fincallorca holiday home.
