Situated at an impressive altitude of 1,800 meters, Avoriaz offers the amenities of a larger city while maintaining the charm of a small village. Cars are replaced by horse-drawn sleds, and you're just steps away from the slopes. The nightlife in Avoriaz has something for everyone, from friends looking to party to families seeking a more relaxed holiday.

When it comes to skiing, Avoriaz is a paradise — only your imagination sets the limits. The off-piste skiing is relatively accessible, and in recent years, much effort has been put into developing various terrain parks that attract snowboarders from all over the world.

Avoriaz itself has 70 km of slopes and 36 lifts. There are 6 black runs, 15 red runs, and 24 blue runs.

Chatel.

Chatel is a charming and authentic alpine village with preserved architecture. The village offers a relaxed atmosphere ideal for couples, families, or groups of friends. Additionally, Chatel generally offers more affordable prices than Avoriaz. From Chatel, you can take a gondola up to Avoriaz to start your ski day.

For Chatel, local lift passes start at €144 for adults and €108 for children, with family discounts available.

Travel Tips

Traveling here by car is straightforward; just note that Avoriaz is car-free. Upon arrival, a local guide will assist with parking and transportation to your accommodation. If you prefer to fly, Geneva Airport is the nearest, and we can arrange car rentals from there. Direct buses from the airport are also available.
