Trips to Benidorm

Benidorm is a city and municipality in the province of Alicante in the Valencia region of Spain. The city is located along the Costa Blanca on the Spanish Mediterranean coast, between La Vila Joiosa (Villajoyosa) and Altea and about 45 km from Alicante. Alicante is also the location of the nearest airport.

Culture and Entertainment

The old town is just a stone's throw from the coastline. This area features several cafes, restaurants, bars, attractions, and shops with excellent shopping opportunities.

Notable attractions include the Iglesia de San Jaime y Santa Ana (Church of San Jaime), which is centrally located on a hill, as well as Plaza del Castell and La Cruz de Benidorm, which are located just outside the city.

Beaches

Here you will find the western Poniente Beach and the eastern Levante Beach, with Poniente being the quieter beach. This side of the coast also boasts a promenade with restaurants and cafes that are beautifully illuminated in the evenings.

Aqualandia

3 km east of central Benidorm lies Aqualandia, featuring several pools, activities, and over 20 water slides. Both couples and families with children can enjoy a genuine water adventure here. Black Hole, Splash, The Rapids, Big Bang, Zig Zag, and Vertigo are just a few of the water slides found in the park. Vertigo is the newest and most thrilling. From its 33-meter high platform, you get a stunning view over Benidorm. You then descend a 22-meter drop at speeds up to 100 km/h into the warm pool, guaranteeing an adrenaline rush!

For those seeking relaxation, there are warm pools to dip into. Aqualandia has a nature-inspired design to complement the nearby surroundings. There are lush green lawns and tropical palm trees providing natural, shaded areas. There are also restaurants, cafes, and a souvenir shop.
