Narrow Streets and Charming Houses

The island has two main towns: Capri and Anacapri. Capri is larger, busier, and generally more expensive, attracting the most visitors.

Anacapri, located inland and up in the hills, is quieter and more affordable. Here you can visit attractions like the Villa San Michele. Both towns feature narrow streets and picturesque squares with bars and cozy restaurants that serve delicious food.

Wonderful Excursions and Beautiful Views

Whether you choose to stay on Capri or just visit for the day, we recommend going on one of the many excursions, such as to La Grotta Azzurra, the Blue Grotto. You also have the chance to swim at some of the island's most beautiful beaches, which are accessible only by boat, or enjoy lovely walks in the hilly terrain.

Capri offers plenty of exclusive stores, including brands like Dolce & Gabbana and Louis Vuitton. Aside from a wide range of clothing stores, there are also many small shops offering local specialties.

You can easily get around the island on foot, via local minibuses, or by taxi.

Getting Here

The island is conveniently reached by ferry, with several options and regular schedules. Just note that cars cannot be brought onto the island.
