Trips to Hildesheim
For over a thousand years, the city has been a cultural center between the Harz mountain range and the Lüneburger Heide plains. On March 22, 1945, the city was turned into rubble during heavy bombings at the end of the war.

Since the city received its town rights in the 11th century, the Market Square has been the heart of the city. Every detail has been reconstructed, and it's easy to forget that the square looked entirely different just a few years ago.
