Trips to Livigno

Welcoming Livigno is nestled in a valley, beautifully surrounded by snow-covered alpine peaks at around 1800 meters with a maximum skiing altitude of about 2800 meters. In this charming mountain village, you can enjoy a delightful mix of old and new during your vacation. During the day, you can cruise down well-groomed slopes, and in the evening, explore the shops and nightlife.
An Important Alpine Destination
Livigno is divided into three "areas": Santa Maria, San Antonio, and San Rocco. The village has been attracting ski enthusiasts looking for that extra something. A big plus is that the resort caters to family members of all ages.
Expansive Slopes and Open Spaces
This is the right choice for those who want plenty of space on the slopes during their ski trip. The skiing areas offer wide, open, and well-maintained slopes. The dry air in the valley means they rarely get icy, and with slopes on both sides of the village, you can make the most of your day.
If you're interested in trying some easy off-piste skiing, Livigno is ideal. There is accessible off-piste between the slopes where you can carve your own path down the mountain. There are 20 km of black runs, 55 km of red, and 40 km of blue. The lift system is modern, and despite its popularity, you won’t encounter long wait times. Ski buses are available to transport you between the different base stations. The season starts in early December and lasts until the end of April. Of course, there are ski schools in the village, as well as shops renting out ski equipment.
Snowboarding and Cross-Country Skiing
For snowboarding enthusiasts, there are two parks to choose from. Mottolino Snow Park offers features like super-pipe, half-pipe, rails, and kickers. Additionally, Livigno Park Carosello 3000 has a range of options to suit different skill levels. If cross-country skiing interests you, there are about 40 km of trails available.
More Than Just Skiing
Livigno offers much more than just skiing. There is the Aquagrande Livigno Wellness Park with an indoor pool and sauna. You can also hike, climb, ice skate, play billiards, tennis, or go to the cinema. Or why not try dog sledding? Livigno's proximity to Switzerland allows for a day trip to the famous St. Moritz. For those interested in hot springs, Bormio is about an hour's drive away.
Food, Drink, and Shopping
Livigno's long main street runs through the village with a variety of branded shops. There is also a great selection of pleasant restaurants, wine bars, and pubs for après-ski. And for those who love to dance, there are discos.
